I was raised in Mississippi and love the South. My degree in Photojournalism brought me to Birmingham, AL, where I was a food photographer at Southern Living magazine for 12 years. After my daughter was born, I realized I loved photographing people more than anything. Having a daughter with Down syndrome opened my eyes to a whole new world of beauty. She is absolutely the light of my life! Now I am passionate about showing the beautiful light in everyone and preserving it so that you can enjoy it every single day.
